On March 8, 2010, Aban­doned Prop­erty Ser­vices, LLC was awarded the cov­eted, “UPPO President’s Award” for the company’s ser­vice to the unclaimed prop­erty trade asso­ci­a­tion, the Unclaimed Prop­erty Pro­fes­sion­als Orga­ni­za­tion (UPPO). In addi­tion, Mar­cella Easly of APS was rec­og­nized as one of the five UPPO com­mit­tee par­tic­i­pants who sig­nif­i­cantly fur­thered UPPO’s goals through ser­vice and lead­er­ship. This award was pre­sented to Mar­cella due to her work as the Chair of the UPPO Bylaws com­mit­tee and Co-Chair of the UPPO sub­com­mit­tee on Advo­cacy and Awareness.

APS, LLC’s Man­ag­ing Direc­tor Bob Grif­fin noted, “APS’ takes its com­mit­ment to the unclaimed prop­erty com­mu­nity seri­ously and staff is encour­aged to work on projects that ben­e­fit the unclaimed prop­erty com­mu­nity. We are proud to have our efforts rec­og­nized and to be a part of the UPPO.”
